Broaster Company VF-2 / VF-3i 12-Year Inspection
Inspection must be performed by certified service personnel, as per NFPA 17A
- Install Safety Pin into suppressant canister valve before servicing Fire
Suppression System - Perform Semi-Annual inspection
- Remove Fire Suppressant Canister
- Discharge and discard fire suppressant from canister
- Perform Hydrostatic test of the empty canister
a. While canister is removed, flush out the fire suppressant tubes and
nozzles - If canister passes the hydrostatic test, refill with suppressant and pressurize to
195 psi and re-install - Properly tag the fire suppressant canister with date tested
- If canister fails the hydrostatic test, replace with Broaster Part Number 15991
a. Canister must be shipped empty, it will have to be filled and pressurized
before installation.

Ensure that any discrepancies that might affect the safe operation of this unit are resolved before tagging the unit as safe to use.
